“Sonic Yonix is a bi-coastal, multi-cultural creative duo comprised of visual artists Bianca Gonzalez-Marra (NY) and Diandre Fuentes (CA). Since 2013, they have been celebrating the quirky underbelly of femininity and brown people power through illustration, comics, mixtapes, and installations. Their work has evolved to explore the cultural and emotional commonalities between colonized peoples, specifically Filipinos and Puerto Ricans, in hopes of building empathy across communities impacted by colonial diaspora.”
